Puget Sound World Usability Day brings together a variety of User Experience (UX) disciplines for a one-day conference that celebrates one common goal:  Make services easier to access and products simpler to use.

Our theme this year is engagement. User Experience is all about engagement. Technology, products and services are usable when they engage people. This is the year to "think out of the box" and engage.

Our conference features more than 20 leading UX professionals from the greater Puget Sound region, as well also recognized national and international guest speakers, who will share valuable insights and advice related to the theme of engagement. This year’s program is so big that we have two exceptional keynote speakers. We’ll kick off the day with Tamara Adlin and Eric Schaffer will close out the worldwide World Usability Day program. Come here the best and brightest talk about the latest UX hotness. A social will immediately follow our program, and feature food, giveaways, and networking opportunities.

World Usability Day is celebrated in more than 30 countries throughout the World on the same day, and the Puget Sound event will close out the worldwide program.

We are an active chapter of the User Experience Professionals' Association ( representing the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. UXPA International operates throughout the world, and was formerly known as UPA.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit we offer public workshops, career panels, speaker presentations, portfolio reviews, educational scholarships, volunteer outreach, and host social events like happy hours and networking functions.
